APRIL At The Odd Fellows

This upcoming month at The Burlington Odd Fellows is Rebekahs' Month! In addition to featuring spring-forward events - such as a plant and seed swap, poetry reading celebrating national poetry month, and a forager's potluck - we'll also be working towards reviving Burlington's Beatrice Rebekah Lodge through an initiation and regular meetings.
What are The Rebekahs?
The Rebekahs, also known as the International Association of Rebekah Assemblies (IARA), and originally the Daughters of Rebekah is an international service-oriented organization and a branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. It was initially designed as the female auxiliary of the IOOF, but now allows members of all genders.
The general duties of the members of this unit are, “To live peaceably, do good unto all, as we have opportunity and especially to obey the Golden Rule, Whatsoever ye would that others should do unto you, do ye even so unto them.”

The Odd Talents Variety Show has been rescheduled to May 2nd!
Help the North End Food Pantry stock their shelves and join us for an ODD TALENTS VARIETY SHOW!
⭐When: May 2nd // Doors & Call time for performers @ 7PM // Show at 7:30PM - 9:30PM
⭐Where: The Burlington Odd Fellows Lodge @ 1416 North Ave, Burlington, VT 05408
⭐Suggested admission: 3-5 non-perishable goods for the pantry.
A showcase of music, dance, rare human talents, show and tell, and general bufoonery to benefit the North End Food Pantry! Admission is 3-5 pantry or canned goods (see below for list of high-need items.)
Please share a little bit about your Odd Talent and anything you might need from us for your performance. We hope to showcase as many talents as time and space allows - the Odder the Better! We will be in touch via email to confirm your appearance.

Performer call time is 7PM to set up any A/V. Last minute performers will be accepted the day of the show, but a spot is not guaranteed.
The pantry's most needed items are:
cold cereal (like cheerios, corn flakes)
peanut butter
mayo
tuna fish
vegetable oil
pasta
dried beans
canned soups
pasta sauce
canned vegetables & fruit
paper towels & toilet paper
disposable diapers in larger sizes 4 & up
pull ups
menstrual items
NEW clothing items
NEW socks
NEW underwear all ages & genders
NEW undershirts
